The Ten Feet High Series is our monthly wakeboard competition series. It’s run by riders, for riders and is our grassroots “Rookie to Pro” wakeboarding event. It’s all about getting all levels of rider out on the water, competing and pushing themselves in the sport of wakeboarding.
If you’re not riding yourself, come down, watch and encourage. You’ll see Sheffield’s best wakeboarders battling it out against riders from other cables in the UK. Plus, at the start of the event you’ll get chance to watch our younger “rookie” talent, many of them entering the series for the very first time as they progress from our Junior Riders Sessions.
The monthly #tfhseries events are competitions in their own right, the winners are announced at a presentation in the bar after each event, but they also have an overall series element to them and the best of four scores for each rider count towards the end of season overall titles, announced at the September final event.
Spectators are welcome (it’s free to watch). The competitions start late afternoon (depending on entry numbers) and we have a delicious BBQ during the evening (tickets available on the day from our cafe priced at £7.50 each), followed by late opening in the bar.

The Ten Feet High series is now an established event on the UK Cable Wakeboard calendar. It is the longest running wakeboard competition in the UK. We’re really proud of our heritage and past Pro Series winners include not only talented local riders but some awesome international riders started out here too including Hyperlite Pro rider Nick Davies, CK Koester and Dec Clifford.
How to Enter
You can enter the series on the day by registering at reception. Please arrive by 2:00 p.m at the latest to register for the event. The cost of competition entry is £25, this includes a BBQ ticket for the evening. If you are not a season pass holder at Sheffield, and want to ride beforehand, you can ride from 11:00 a.m until competition start time AND enter the competition for just £45.
We have six categories, designed to both push the standards of top level riders in Intermediates and Pro’s and to allow both younger and older, less experienced riders to push themselves and enjoy competing (with a chance of a podium finish) in the Rookie categories.
Please see the rules for detailed category requirements/ specification.
|Under 13 Rookies|
|Over 35 Rookies|
Rules will published at the site on the day, and will be summarised at the Riders Meeting before the event starts. You can also view them here.
