Waterfront Assistant.

This is a seasonal position: April - September
Age: 16+

One weekend day during April/ May/ June/ July/ August / September plus bank holiday working. 3 / 4 days per week during school holidays on a rota basis.

Pay is dependant upon age and experience.

Main Duties:

  • Supporting our lifeguarding and check-in teams.

  • Tidying and organising buoyancy-aids ready for customer use.

  • Cleaning and organising wetsuits ready for customer use.

  • Cleaning and tidying our indoor and outdoor areas.

  • Emptying bins and litter picking.

  • Communicating with the lifeguarding and check-in teams.

  • Assisting with additional duties roles of the lifeguarding and Check-in teams.

This is a practical role which is customer facing. In addition to practical skills you will also need to have a friendly yet efficient manner as you will be working in a leisure environment where customers are present. You will need to be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, you will need to be able to swim competently as this role is located around open water and may involve cleaning parts of the inflatable park when needed by the lifeguarding team. This is not an office based role.

You will be based at our business location in Rother Valley Country Park.
