Covid-19 Restrictions

Please note there have been temporary changes to our Terms and Conditions due to Covid-19. Any participants not able to attend due to having Covid-19 or being asked to isolate by Test and Trace will now be eligible to have their place rescheduled. [IMPORTANT] Please contact us at least three hours IN ADVANCE of the booking time using our contact us page in order to reschedule. Our cancellation policy remains unaffected. Gold Card passes now have restrictions upon their use (please contact us for details).

Booking Policy

Sheffield Cable Water Ski Ltd online bookings are processed by SagePay.co.uk via Checkfront.co.uk. Your credit card details are entered on a secure page and encrypted using SSL technology. The data controller is Sheffield Cable Water Ski LTD. Please see our privacy policy for details on how we use and store your data.

By making a booking with us it is assumed that you have read, understand and accept the following terms & conditions. Regretfully, we do reserve the right for our staff to ask you to leave the premises if you do not abide by the Terms and Conditions outlined below. In such cases, no refund will be given.

Valid Advance Bookings

All persons entering the Cable Ski or Aqua Park must have a valid booking email confirmation with a status of PAID. All bookings are only valid on the date and time of the booking on our system and shown on your email confirmation. You must bring the payment card used along with a copy of the email invoice confirmation to check in for your booking (unless paid by gift-voucher).

Booking Methods

Pre-booking for the Aqua Park and Cable Park is online. You can book online at www.sheffieldcablewaterski.com. Sheffield Cable Water Ski reserves the right to refuse admission without refund or transfer. Subject to availability on the day bookings may be available. We may charge more for this late availability.

Booking Confirmation and Acceptance

Your booking is not confirmed until payment is taken by us after authorisation. We reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time. If we cancel your booking we will offer a full refund or offer a suitable alternative booking time.

Booking Process

Our Site will guide you through the booking process. Before submitting your Booking to us you will be given the opportunity to review your Booking and amend it. Please ensure that you have checked your Booking carefully before submitting it and that each guest is able to satisfy the Entry Conditions (below). By submitting your Booking, you agree that you have authority to make the booking on behalf of your party and that the booking is subject to these terms and conditions.

Cancellations / Reschedules and Transferral of Bookings

If you need to cancel or alter your booking, the cancellation policy notice period is different for the Aqua Park and Cable Ski. For the Aqua Park we require a minimum of 10 days notice by email/ phone to cancel or reschedule a booking. For the cable ski we require a minimum of 24 hours notice by email/phone to cancl or reschedule. If you do not get a prompt reply to your email we may not have received it. Please phone to confirm in this case. Cancellations incurred with less than the correct notice period will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling. All refunds will incur a £5 admin fee.

Acceptance of our Entry Conditions

If Bookings are made on behalf of other guests, you accept the Entry Conditions on behalf of every guest and shall ensure that the Entry Conditions are complied with by each person in the group.

Attendee Risk Awareness and Consent Form

All attendees in your group will be required to sign and complete the Risk Awareness and Consent Form prior to the entry into the Aqua Park or Cable Ski (this is not a disclaimer of our legal responsibilities). This process is different for schools, please contact us. We require that the school get consent from the parent to partake in this activity and that the school asks the parents whether they can meet our Entry Requirements for each activity.

Any attendee who fails to complete the Risk Awareness and Consent Form prior to the date in which they are due to attend, will be refused entry and no refund will be issued. Under 18 year old’s will need to have their Risk Awareness and Consent Form completed by a parent/ guardian OR a responsible adult that is able to sign to inform us that they have authority from the child/ren’s parent or guardian to sign this form and disclose the child(ren’s) personal information.


Please be advised we have CCTV throughout the centre for the purposes of crime prevention which complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. In addition, we may record your images for advertising & or marketing purposes.

It is sometimes the case that third parties -including the media- record images of events at Sheffield Cable Water Ski. In such circumstances notices we will try to let customers know, but due to the location of the site (public country park) we may not always be aware of this activity.

Terms and Conditions

Danger of Personal Injury

In participating in watersports activities there is an element of danger and risk of injury to you and your party. Participants will ensure their own safety whilst taking reasonable care when undertaking water sport activity.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be held liable for disruption or cancellation of bookings by us or you due to events outside our control or Force Majeure Events.


Sheffield Cable Water Ski accept no responsibility for damage to or loss of equipment or clothing whilst undertaking any activity on or around the cable waterski site (including Aqua Park).


We occasionally close the cable ski/ aqua park for special events/ competitions and also maintenance. It is also sometimes essential to close the cable ski for unplanned maintenance to occur. Please check our website/ facebook page or phone for up to date information on opening times. If we need to close the cable ski or aqua park we will endeavour to reschedule your booking. No refunds will be issued where we have removed individual items from the cable ski/ aqua park for maintenance (e.g sliders or kickers/ aqua park apparatus) and the site is still open. The Aqua Park cannot operate during periods of high wind and adverse weather conditions.


We will endeavour to ensure that as many inflatables (aqua park) or features (cable park) are available for use (subject to participant ability for the cable park), However we reserve the right, without prior notice, to remove any inflatable or feature, that we deem necessary.


Sheffield Cable Water Ski reserves the right to make changes at any time.


If you miss your session time on either the Aqua Park or Cable Park Sheffield Cable Waterski will not be held responsible for this. All participants for Aqua Park sessions must arrive in time to check in, change and get to the compulsory safety brief.


Children under the age of 16 must not be left on the premises by themselves at any time. If this is found to be the case, Sheffield Cable Waterski may inform the police immediately.


Only food & beverage bought from Sheffield Cable Water Ski’s own café or bar may be consumed on the premises.


1. Certificates or vouchers are valid up to the expiry date and can not be used after that date.
2. Vouchers or certificate codes cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
3. Vouchers or certificates/ certificate codes cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or other denominated vouchers.
4. If an intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value of the voucher(s) or gift certificate code, the
difference can be made up with a credit card payment. If it is less, then change can not be given.
5. Vouchers or gift certificate codes cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens, coupons or cards.
6. Vouchers / gift certificate codes cannot be sold to any third parties without our consent. If we do give our consent then such consent may be subject to any conditions which we impose. In any event you may not sell the Vouchers/ certificates through the internet without our express written consent, which you must obtain before making any such sale. We reserve the right at all times to refuse to permit any sale of Vouchers/ certificates by you to a third party.
7. Our gift vouchers will be emailed to you.
8. If you select to receive a branded Greetings Card you will be sent this via Royal Mail 1st class (or similar) to your billing address. The greetings card itself is not a voucher, only the code that it contained in the generated email can be redeemed online in lieu of payment.

Entry Conditions and Rules for the Cable Park

Participants must be 8 years old on or before the date of their session. Wakeboarding and Waterskiing are physically demanding sports and may not be suitable for every 8-12 year old. We reserve the right to refuse admission to your child without refund if we believe this activity would not be suitable for them (for example if they do not look their age.

Sheffield Cable Waterski requires you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your activity starts for the Cable Park, Sheffield Cable Waterski reserves the right to refuse admission to late arrivals – we will usually do everything that we can to accommodate your late arrival, but in some circumstances it may be unsafe for you to join a session if you have missed the health and safety brief and we don’t have staff available to brief you individually. If you are late for the Junior Riders Sessions and miss the safety brief you will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule.

If you arrive too late for your session we will endeavour to reschedule your cable time. If you miss the session completely you will not be entitled to any refund.

All first time users of the cable ski MUST be given a safety brief by one of our staff. If you have previously ridden on a FULL-SIZE cable at another site then this may not be required but please speak to one of our staff at reception on arrival.


You will need to sign at reception to say that you can see and swim 50 metres and that you do not knowingly suffer from any conditions rendering you unfit to ski. If you have any questions about this please ask one of our staff. Wearing glasses is not permitted on the cable ski.

Under 16 year olds will require permission from their legal guardian to take part in this activity. If you are bringing a group of Under 16 year olds to our site it will be assumed that you have previously been granted parental permission for the child to take part in this activity.

To ensure the safety of all cable ski users, no-one other than our qualified cable ski operators are permitted to teach or provide coaching at our cable without prior permission.

During busy times we may sometimes ask cable users to come off after 3 laps of the cable and queue up again. Day pass users may also be asked to give priority to any large beginner groups booked on during the day.

Wetsuits, Buoyancy aids and helmets are available to hire. It is compulsory to wear a buoyancy aid (or impact jacket) and a helmet.

For your own safety and safety of others Sheffield Cable Water Ski reserves the right to ask any customer to leave the cable ski if we believe them to be under the influence of drink or drugs, behaving irresponsibly, causing disharmony or endangering other cable ski users. In such cases no refund will be given.

All Participants must meet the Entry Conditions for the Aqua Park and comply with the Rules of the Aqua Park.
